Since 1977 The Animal Company has been serving the greater
San Francisco Bay Area. We are the oldest existing pet store in San Francisco. Over the years The Animal Co. has continued to offer it's visitors a warm welcoming environment. Unlike the the "Big Box" stores we know most of our customers on a first name basis. Our
staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to help in anyway.
Exotic birds are our specialty. Even though birds are our primary focus we are a full line pet store. We offer a wide variety of dog and cat premium foods and supplies. Additionally we cater to the basic needs of other pets including fish, reptiles, and small animals.
